# Use cases

Given all those perks and pitfalls, you can consider Oracle RDMS as a reasonable solution for online OLTP, data warehousing, and even mixed (OLTP and DW) database application. If you have a billion records to hold and manage – and a sufficient budget to support it – Oracle hybrid cloud software is a good option to choose.
